Presidents Message:

Hello Maverick Football Fans and Family,

First, I want to personally thank you for visiting our new Maverick Football Website and hope that you are as excited about this site as we are. Our Football Booster Club Board has been working hard this school year to prepare for next year. We elect board members a year ahead in order to prepare for the annual Teal and White Spring Game, Football Golf Tournament, Meet the Team and to make decisions on the spirit items that will represent the upcoming season. Thank you Booster Club Board Members for all you do!

Second, it’s that time again! It’s the beginning of another exciting season of “smash mouth” Maverick Football! How does Coach Snelson and his outstanding staff of coaches back up the 2009 22-5A District Championship of last year? They back it up by the hard work and dedication that has been going on since the 2009 season ended. Coach Snelson and his staff are hard at work preparing our boys for the “battle on the gridiron” as we speak. It’s apparent that our Football Program’s short and storied past is quickly becoming a program built on Dedication and rich in Tradition. Coach Snelson and his staff not only teach and prepare our young men for the battle on the field, but they are dedicated to working on the foundation of their lives that will prepare them to be viable productive young men in society. Coaching is much more than teaching football. It’s helping to teach our kids to be the men they desire to be and need to be. With that said, the 2010-2011 Pasadena Memorial Football Booster Club Members want to thank the coaching staff for all they do and for the opportunity to become a piece of the puzzle that makes our program successful!

Lastly, our Booster Club can’t function without the support of caring parents. Your support of the Booster Club is critically important to the growth and viability of the Maverick Football Program. I invite you to participate in the support of the Maverick Football Booster Club. In return, you will be a piece of the puzzle that is committed to furthering the vision of developing a comprehensive football program that will significantly impact the lives of hundreds of fine young men…..our young men!  I understand that we all have complicated lives that will only allow for a certain amount of dedicated volunteer time but understand that is what we need. If you give up some of your valuable time, our program will grow significantly and this will equate to an enriched program. Remember, the booster club contributions go back into the program affecting the athletes in the form of equipment purchases, upgrades, the football banquet and scholarships for a select group of graduating seniors.
